  • Sushil K GoenkaPromoter Director

    Sushil K Goenka is one of the pillars of Emami Ltd. With rich industry experience, he drives production, factory operations, distribution, procurement and packaging among others. His leadership skills have led his team at all units across the country to achieve excellence in quality management, which have been recognised by winning various awards and accolades. His benevolent nature and people skills make him the right candidate for man management and operations. Sushil K Goenka is not only an able administrator and businessman, he also has a philanthropic side to him. He plays an important role in the CSR activities undertaken by the Emami Group. He holds the position of the Secretary of various Trusts viz Aradhana Trust, Vishwa Jagriti Mission Trust (Kolkata) and Vivekananda Hospital and Research Centre, Kolkata.

  • Mohan Goenka Promoter Director

    A Management Graduate from Cardiff University, UK, Mohan Goenka is a key member of Emami Group's core Advisory Team that is responsible for the Group's overall strategy. With his extensive knowledge and experience in brand development, marketing and finance, Mohan co-leads the FMCG business along with other Promoter Directors of Emami Ltd. Mohan holds a key position in developing the market share of the Company in India and leads various functions like Corporate Strategy, Marketing, Investor Relations, Sales etc. He, along with the others, is considered as one of the most promising second generation Promoter-Directors in the industry today. His strong people skills and team building capabilities make him a natural leader. Determined to stay ahead in competition, the biggest feather in Mohan's cap is the launch of Fair and Handsome, the first fairness cream for men in India and making it the undisputed market leader and a category creator.

    Mohan holds the prestigious position of being the Honorary Consul of Poland in Kolkata and is the former Chairman of ASSOCHAM National Council for FMCG.

  • Aditya V Agarwal Promoter Director

    Aditya V Agarwal is a second-generation entrepreneur, promoter and director of the Emami Group. He currently heads the Group’s edible oil and bio-diesel business, which is India’s second largest edible oil producer, manufacturing well-known edible oil brands viz. Healthy & Tasty and Best Choice.  Aditya also heads the Group’s paper & paperboard business – Emami Paper and AMRI Hospitals – Eastern India’s largest chain of private hospitals.  The Group’s cement business, which was set up a few years ago and headed by Aditya along with his friend & business partner Manish Goenka,  fetched an enterprise value of a staggering Rs.5500 cr for its strong brand equity.

    Hailed by many as one of the most dynamic leaders, Aditya V Agarwal has been successful in setting up new businesses from scratch as well as turning around sick units into national powerhouses.  With a very keen sense of observation, and a frank yet humble personality, he is a no-nonsense leader who has delivered time and again from a very young age.

    While very simple in lifestyle, modest in speech, Aditya has been a beacon of leadership in the world of business.  He has served as the youngest President of the Merchants Chamber of Commerce and has spearheaded Indian Chamber of Commerce in 2016-17 as it’s President.  In addition, he holds the position of the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Ethiopia in Kolkata Both Aditya and Manish were awarded two prestigious industry awards at the GlobOil Indian Annual Conference in 2017 for their outstanding leadership.

  • Manish Goenka Promoter Director

    Manish Goenka, is one of the Second Generation Promoter Directors of the diversified business Emami Group of Companies. He is one of the key members of the strategic think-tank committee of the Group and is on the Board of Emami Paper Mills Limited.

    An MBA from Cardiff University, UK, Manish is involved in the edible oil and paper business of the Group. With his sharp business acumen and vision as well as the vast experience gained from the Group’s FMCG business, Manish has spearheaded the edible oil arm of the Group for it to become one of the front-running edible oil companies in India within just 5 years of its inception.

    The Group’s cement business, which was set up a few years ago and headed by Manish along with his friend and business partner, Aditya Agarwal, fetched an enterprise value of a staggering Rs.5500 cr for its strong brand equity.

    As a Director, Manish plays a key role in setting new benchmarks within the Group.  These include quality standards, benchmarking services, ensuring customer satisfaction by employing top-of-the-line technology and its application. 

    Manish Goenka is the Past President of Merchant Chamber of Commerce and has been an active member of the Bio-Diesel Committee of CII.   Both Manish and Aditya were awarded two prestigious industry awards at the GlobOil Indian Annual Conference in 2017 for their outstanding leadership.

    He takes active interest in the different charitable activities of “Emami Foundation” and is a great believer in Corporate Social Responsibilities.  

  • Harsha V Agarwal Promoter Director

    Harsha V Agarwal is one of the youngest and most promising second-generation leaders of the Group. Awarded as one of the India’s Hottest Young Business Leaders in the prestigious ‘FORTY UNDER 40’ list put together by The Economic Times & Spencer Stuart in 2016. Harsha, with his extensive knowledge and experience in strategy, marketing and brand development, co-leads the FMCG business with other Promoter – Directors on board. He also takes personal interest in functions such as Merger & Acquisition, Strategy, Human Resources, Information Technology, Health Care business, Media & Communication and Marketing functions of Emami Ltd. 

    Being very farsighted and strategic in dealings, Harsha spearheaded the acquisition of Zandu Pharmaceutical Works Ltd in 2008 and the subsequent demerger of its FMCG business into Emami Ltd in 2009. He continues to look after Zandu Ayurvedic and health care business. Harsha also spearheaded successfully, the acquisition of Kesh King’s hare & scalp care business in 2015 to mark Emami’s foray in the Ayurvedic Hair & Scalp Care segment. Subsequently he made strategic investments in new-age startups such as The Man Company & Brillare. This was followed by the acquisition of Creme 21, a leading German personal care brand in early 2019.

    His in-depth knowledge of different businesses is a great asset to the organization and it helps in identifying opportunities for growth. His grit, determination and business acumen has already made a defining mark in running a business behemoth, which is a source of inspiration to any aspiring businessman.

  • Priti A SurekaPromoter Director

    A graduate alumnus of the Harvard Business School, Priti A Sureka is an inspiring woman business leader. A key member of Emami Group's core Advisory Team that is responsible for the Group's overall strategy, Priti co-leads the FMCG business along with other Promoter Directors of Emami Ltd.

    She also heads the FMCG business’s R & D and Market Research Divisions. With her deep understanding of the evolving needs of consumers resulting in dynamic changes to product lines across the globe, she passionately guides research to “innovate with purpose” by anticipating future consumer needs and aspirations and developing and marketing new products to fulfill them. With her mantra “Do it now!” Priti leads her team of professionals from the front, continuously raising the bar to ensure sustained high growth rates. She also mentors the Group’s retail and ballpoint-manufacturing businesses, advocates the cause for woman empowerment, and actively supports the Udayan Shalini project that provides education to underprivileged girls. Priti is a Director Member of Merchants’ Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI), Kolkata.

  • Prashant Goenka Promoter Director

    Prashant Goenka with his expertise in markets like Middle East, Africa, South East Asia, Russia & CIS and SAARC heads the International Business of Emami Limited. His in-depth knowledge about the overseas markets coupled with strategic vision has helped Emami to establish itself as a leading ayurvedic and natural personal care manufacturer in the international arena. Being passionate and result oriented, Prashant spearheads a team of high performing professionals across geographies delivering sustained growth.

    A MBA in Finance & International Marketing from the University of Wales, College of Cardiff, UK, Prashant is a member of various reputed industry chambers such as Indo-American Chamber of Commerce, Confederation of Indian Industry [CII] and Merchant Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Bhansali has wide exposure in fields of Finance and Accounting, Taxation, Business Strategic Planning, Costing, Internal Control Procedures, Human Resource Management, Information Technology, Corporate Social Responsibility and other allied matters. Academically, Mr. Bhansali was ranked 8th all over India in CA intermediate examination and was an All India Topper in Law.

Mr. P. S. Patwari, Executive Director & CEO of Emami Paper Mills Ltd and a senior Fellow Chartered Accountant (FCA) is known in the industry for  His extensive knowledge in finance, accounting, marketing, strategic planning in corporate affairs, business development, project implementation and overall management He joined the company, Emami Paper Mills Limited, in the year 1984. His brilliance, dedication and outstanding ability coupled with keen insight, tenacity and fair-sightedness elevated him from a senior executive to the position of Executive Director & CEO in a span of 12 years. He is also associated with Treasury Operations and in the strategic business planning of various Emami Group of Companies and is considered as one of the stewards of the Business House. He represents various chambers of commerce in various positions and is President of Indian Newsprint Manufacturers Association and Vice President of Indian Agro & Recycled Paper Mills Association and India Pulp and Paper Technical Association. He is also member of Development Council of Pulp, Paper & Allied Industries under Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India. 

Mr. Sudhakar Rao Desai
Director & CEO, Emami Agrotech Ltd

A Management Graduate from IRMA, Gujarat Mr. Sudhakar Rao Desai, Director & CEO, Emami Agrotech Ltd has 27 years of experience in all facets of agri business/edible oil. He is an active member of Industry Trade Bodies like SEA (Solvent Extractors Association) and has served as the Director of Bombay Commodity Exchange. He is also a Product Committee member of NCDEX. Prior to Emami, Mr. Desai was with Bunge India Pvt. Ltd. as Director/Vice President and also worked as Chief Trader, with ITC Agrotech/ConAgra.

Mr. Rupak Barua
Director & Group CEO, AMRI Hospitals

Mr. Rupak Barua is not only a name to reckon with in India’s healthcare sector, he is also finding a place on global platforms, like the UNAIDS. Currently, a Board member and Group CEO of AMRI Hospitals, in a career spanning more than three decades, he has held several senior positions at major private hospitals of Kolkata. An administrator with experience and insight, he has found a seat of honour at several industry bodies, including as President of the Association of Hospitals of Eastern India (AHEI), Chairman of the Healthcare Sub-Committee (Eastern Region) of the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII), and as a National Expert at the Healthcare Committee of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC).

Mr Barua successfully pursued the prestigious Management Development Programme from Singapore Management University (SMU), one of the world’s top B-Schools, after having sailed through similar programmes at IIM-Ahmedabad and IIM-Bangalore. An alumnus of Calcutta University, he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Science, later adding a Post-Graduate course in Marketing to his credits.
