Agarwal, he has played an instrumental role in transforming a modest entrepreneurial venture into a professionally managed business group with leadership across FMCG, edible oils, branded foods, biodiesel, paper and packaging, real estate, retail, writing instruments and contemporary art.
Widely respected for his strategic thinking, financial acumen, and institution-building capabilities, Mr. Goenka has been a key architect of the Group's governance framework and long-term growth. His expertise in taxation, strategic planning, corporate affairs, and finance, combined with his disciplined approach to execution and unwavering emphasis on loyalty and commitment, has contributed significantly to Emami's sustained success.
Mr. Goenka holds a Master's degree in Commerce and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.). After successfully serving as a Whole-time Director of Emami Limited, he now serves as Non-Executive Chairman, providing strategic counsel and mentoring the leadership team.

He served as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland in Kolkata and, in 2007, became the fifth Indian to receive the Cavalier Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland.
